Setting up your blog page with our pre-defined blog layout is incredibly simple.

Creating the blog page

To get started, navigate to the Pages area of Semplice and create a new page. This page will serve as your blog page, and you can name it whatever you wish.

Once the page is created, simply save and publish the page. There is no need to edit the page, since the page will automatically be styled and generated from our pre-defined blog template layout. 

Setting the blog page

Once the page that will serve as your blog page has been created and published, you will now need to set is as the blog page. 

Navigate to Settings > General, and under 'Your Homepage displays select 'Static Page'. From the 'Blog Homepage' dropdown, select your blog page.

That's it! 

Now, that page will automatically generate a layout that contains your blog pages. You can then customize and style your blog page to your liking under Customize > Blog.

Note: At this time, we currently only offer a minimalistic blog feature in Semplice and there's not a way to modify this layout without modifying core theme files. Sadly, we do not offer support for how to modify theme files or customizations to default Semplice functionality.
